TAMIKA L MILES

Known for her worldly views and direct strategic approach to resolving issues, Ms. Tamika L Miles is a leader in progressive strategic processes. A child of a military father, Ms. Miles spent over fifteen (15) years living abroad, where she gained her sense of wonder and appreciation for all cultures. Working with diverse workforces and organizations has been at the forefront of Ms. Miles' career. Ms. Miles is passionate about assisting all demographics reach their true potential. An avid reader and learner, Ms. Miles values knowledge, awareness, and the tactical application of both in her business practices. Strategic planning is the basis from which Ms. Miles launches her professional endeavors.

Ms. Miles has over twenty-five (25) years of public service experience at the local and federal levels. Ms. Miles has a background in awareness development, experience in designing and managing capacity building and developmental programs with multilateral organizations. Ms. Miles has acquired twenty (20) years of expertise in strategic planning, relationship building, change management, and organizational enrichment. Ms. Miles has fifteen (15) years of experience in federal government, federal contracting and federal educational settings applying extensive government and business practices, identifying and solving budgetary concerns and resolving program/project issues while managing and maintaining pertinent relationships giving her expertise in interacting with public officials, high-ranking government officers, C-level management and the general public achieving tangible results. Also, having worked at the local level at the Prince William Department of Social Services, Arlington County Police Department, multiple agencies with the District of Columbia Government and currently with the City of San Antonio has provided Ms. Miles the opportunity to demonstrate an advanced level of analytic thinking, her attention to detail, and the ability to create as well as maintain intrinsic 360 relationships. Moreover, Ms. Miles' solid professionalism, calm demeanor, collaborative work style and respect for diverse populations have made her a marquee asset to everyone involved on her teams.

Ms. Miles has two undergraduate degrees, several graduate certificates, two graduate degrees and is working on her Doctorate. Ms. Miles attended Temple University where she studied both Economics and African American History. Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ashford University where she studied Applied Behavioral Science with a focus on Organizational Management, has Summa Cum Laude Master's degrees in both Strategic Planning Public Policy and in Public Policy Administration and is a Doctoral Public Administration candidate who is focused on law and policy.

Ms. Miles’ strategic goal is to move beyond fixing problems while enforcing rules capitalizing on an individual's strengths, creative endeavors and linking the work to the metrics of governmental business practices.
